MOSIUS AGENT 1

Search the premises!

A Shadow Member punches a MOSIUS Agent and holds them down at gunpoint.

SHADOW MEMBER 1

Let’s see how strong you are now, huh?

The Shadow Member almost presses the trigger. A gunshot is heard and the Shadow Member drops dead on the Agent. Clifford comes from behind and aids the Agent up.

MOSIUS AGENT 1

(confused, yet relieved) Huh? Who are you?

CLIFFORD:

Hi! I'm the new kid. Nice to meet you!

Shadows fire towards their direction. The MOSIUS Agent throws themselves and pushes Clifford out of the way of the gunfire, behind a pillar.

CLIFFORD:

STAY DOWN!!

The Shadows' gunfire stops. Clifford peeps from behind the pillar.

MOSIUS AGENT 1

FIRE!!

The MOSIUS Agents shoot after the Shadows. Clifford takes aim and kills two Shadow members. Clifford reloads the gun and looks at his hip pouch, and pulls out a grenade. Clifford stands up.

CLIFFORD:

WATCH MY SIX I AM GOING IN!

MOSIUS AGENT 1

New kid, no!

CLIFFORD:

Trust me!

The Agent nods. Clifford goes out of cover and throws a grenade and quickly jumps to cover again.

SHADOW MEMBER 2

TAKE COVER!

The grenade goes off and the bank is shaking. Two Shadows survived the blast, a hole opened in the wall. The Shadows look at the wall and go out through it.

SHADOW MEMBER:

He opened us an escape route! RUN!

CLIFFORD:

Sh*t!

The Shadows escape from the bank. One of the agents' radio buzzes and Nigel's voice calls from it.

NIGEL:

Agent, are you alright?

MOSIUS AGENT 1

Yeah! Just a little… shaken up.

Some blood spills on the Agent's armor from the ceiling. The Agent looks upwards and notices the blood up there.

MOSIUS AGENT 1

And messy...

NIGEL:

Okay I won't question that. I need you to look for someone.

MOSIUS AGENT 1

Who?

NIGEL:

Clifford Reyes! He’s our new recruit, but he isn’t around the HQ! I want him here, before he arrives at the bank.

MOSIUS AGENT 1

About that sir-

INT. MOSIUS HEADQUARTERS - B1 - CONTROL ROOM. NIGHT.

Nigel and Sabine are both in the control room, Clifford sitting in a chair. Nigel throws his clipboard on the table and reaches until the MOSIUS Agent.

NIGEL:

ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME? I TOLD YOU TO NOT GO TO THE BANK!

CLIFFORD:

Well, if I wouldn’t have your agents and those hostages would’ve gone to dust! So I am pretty much their backup! I got the situation under control!

NIGEL:

The situation was under control, you interfered! AND NOW YOUR PARENTS SAW YOU.

Clifford gets up from his chair and throws his mask on the table.

CLIFFORD:

No they didn’t! I might have ignored your orders, Nigel, but I am smart. I made myself a mask so that my parents or anyone else cannot recognize me. Those Agents didn’t recognize me until I took the mask off when you told them to search for me.

MOSIUS AGENT 1

If I may, sir! The kid had a brilliant idea. He killed the Lieutenant and then saved my life.

SABINE:

If Clifford was able to save them, then he did the right thing.

CLIFFORD:

I might’ve saved them but uh…

Nigel holds his hand at his head, slowly putting it down hearing Clifford's last words.

NIGEL:

Reyes? What? Did you? DO?

CLIFFORD:

Two… got away…

Nigel slams his fists on the table and yells.

NIGEL:

REYES!

CLIFFORD:

I AM SORRY! A GRENADE WAS THE ONLY THING FOR CROWD CONTROL I COULD USE!

NIGEL:

A GRENADE? FOR CROWD CONTROL? LET ALONE IN NURONA’S BANK?

Sabine tries to calm Nigel down by holding his hand.

SABINE:

Calm down! The damages are in a back hall! No one even goes there.

CLIFFORD:

Meh, most of the "damage" is just a hole in the wall and a few gallons of blood. But hey look at the bright side, no losses on our side.

NIGEL:

I guess you are right. Alright, you… you did well for today, Reyes. We’ll see tomorrow.

CLIFFORD:

I will do what I can to find those stragglers.

NIGEL:

Tomorrow you can start searching for them.

CLIFFORD:

Are you sure? I can go on a quick patrol!

NIGEL:

Reyes! I gave you an order!

CLIFFORD:

Yeah, this time I will give you this : you're right. I am going to hunt them forever. See you tomorrow.

Clifford is headed towards the door.

NIGEL:

Clifford!

CLIFFORD:

What is it this time?

NIGEL:

One last thing, before you are part of the organization.

CLIFFORD:

MORSIUS!

NIGEL:

What?

CLIFFORD:

My name is MORSIUS!

Clifford exits the door, with Sabine and Nigel smiling behind him. Nigel turns around from the door and hears the elevator ding. Both Nigel's and Sabine's face expressions shift from smiling to concerning.

SABINE:

You don't think...

NIGEL:

REYES!

Nigel and Sabine begin running out of the control room.

NIGEL:

I am going to kill this kid!

Nigel and Sabine get out of the control room. The camera zooms towards the screens on the wall.

INT. UNKNOWN BUILDING. NIGHT.

The camera zooms out of another screen and into a dark figure looking at the screen. This figure turns around on a wooden board with red strings attached to it, with Clifford's photo in the middle of it. This person grabs the photo, crumbles it and throws it down, then steps on it. The screen blackens.
