you're a pleasurable accident.

- Yeah.

- You killed all those people.

- Collateral damage.

- What did you do to him?

- Rick, he loves his vodka.

He'll be out for a little while.

(glass shattering)

(laughing)

- Fast and resourceful, huh.

- Yes.

You know, this is the most

awkward part of the game.

But, in my experience, I

find there is no better way,

so, here we are.

- It is important

for you to listen.

He'll be brief.

Huh?

(grunting)

(laughing)

She likes to fight, huh?

It's okay.

I don't like to use guns,

so I apologize.

I try to be a little more...

- Creative, Ivan.

- Yeah.

- Creative with what?

- The game.

I understand that you must

be thinking who are we,

where are you.

You are in a game of life...

and death.

This is not a place to be

something that you're not,

but to be who you really

are inside your heart,

Mr. Rainsford.

So, like they say,

the American adage,

"the strongest will survive."

It's just a game.

- Your world...

- My world is...

...honest...

...simple.

- And you shall make

a very good hunt, huh?

- Absolutely.

I brought Rick here because

he is a ultimate hunter.

He will be my greatest conquest.

Now, listen to me carefully.

There's a boat.

Do you hear me, Mr. Rainsford?

There's a boat on the

other side of the island.

If you get there, you live.

If you can kill me,

it would be much easier.

- And what if we refuse to play?

- Then I will have to start

on your feet.

- Why the long face?

I'm giving you

a chance to survive.

I just want to play

a simple game.

You might just find it fun.

Get him up.

(dramatic music)

- Take the supplies.

- Come on, come on.

Rick, come on.

Come on.

- [Man On Radio] This just

in, a private charter ship

called The Wilderness

Explorer has gone missing.

Officials say a distress

call was put out Monday

at 2:
24 a.m.

in the north Pacific Ocean.

The U.S. government is

making expedited actions

to find the cruise ship.

Among its many passengers

was celebrity hunter

and philanthropist,

Rick Rainsford.

Adventure Cruises has

made an official statement

saying that they will be

working quickly with authorities

to locate the missing ship.

- Let the game begin.

(ominous music)

- Rick, are you okay?

- Yeah.

(flies buzzing)

(ominous music)

- What?

- No, stay.

- Oh gee.

Ugh.

Oh my God.

Oh God.

- Are you okay?

- This is not happening.

This is not real,

I'm just in a nightmare.

I'm having a nightmare.

This isn't real,

just bad dreams.

It's not real, it's not real.

What are you doing?

- I don't know,

it's what people do

when people freak out.

I think it might calm

you down or turn you on.

- That's a terrible idea.

Ugh.

- You calmed down, didn't ya?

(dramatic music)

- Mother nature, bless me..

...with courage, truth...

...and humility.

Mother nature, bless me...

with your heart and land.

Mother nature, bless me...

for who I am!

(speaks Russian)

- [Rick] Where are you goin'?

You don't know

anybody else here.

(birds chirping)

(ominous music)

(gasping)

- Rick!

Rick!

(screams)

(coughing)

Ow, ow ow.

Ah.

Thanks.

- That bastard must have

booby-trapped the woods.

- Yeah, it looks that way.

- You all right?

- It looks worse than it is.

Ow.

- We need to get to the beach.

- No, we need to

get to some spring water

and find a place to rest.

Without hydration and sleep,

we're not going anywhere.

- That's a waste of time.

- No, it's not,

we are in the wild.

Water should be

our number one priority.

- You want water?

Here's water.

- I think

we're probably gonna need

a little bit more than

that, don't you think?

Come on.

We're on an island.

There's gotta be water close by.

Somewhere.

- And you know so much

about wilderness survival

because you photograph ducks?

- Yeah.

That's exactly what I do.

You know so much about me.

- What's with the fake name?

- What?

What fake name?

- The name that you go by

that's not your real name.

(arrow whizzing)

(groaning)

- What?

Rick?

Rick, stay with me.

Are you serious?

Rick.

(ominous music)

- [Zaroff] Will he live?

- I'll keep him alive.

They won't leave without him.

- We should embrace change.

- Da.

- Change is important.

Da?

- Da.

- Makes us wiser and stronger.

And less vulnerable.

Da?

- Da.

I am concerned with these two.

- Is this your concern?

Is this your concern?

(speaks Russian)

(grunting)

(screaming)

(arrow whizzing)

- Seriously, really?

No.

No.

- Anna.

- Sector 23 all clear.

- [Zaroff] I have eyes on Anna.

- Copy.

- [Zaroff] The radio's silent.

- Copy.

(ominous music)

- Rick.

Rick.

Rick.

- He's here, run.

Go, go go.

(gunshot rumbling)

(yelping)

(heavy breathing)

- Rick.

Rick.

Rick, Rick.

Rick.

(groans)

Oh God.

Rick, where are you?

Rick?

- [Rick] Anna, I'm over here.

- Where?

- Anna.

Hi.

Quicksand.

Where the hell

did this come from?

Careful, careful, I'm not

sure where it starts or ends.

- I got it, I got it.

You gotta calm down, okay.

- I'm calm.

- You gotta relax.

- I'm relaxed, I'm relaxed.

- I'm gonna get you out, okay?

Trust me.

- [Rick] Okay.

- [Anna] Now, close your eyes.

- How is that gonna help?

- 'Cause I don't want you

starin' at me.

Just close 'em, close your eyes.

All right?

- Okay.

- Take a deep breath.

Lift your arms above your head.

There you go, okay.

- I'm sinking.

Help me out.

- I'm going to,

I'm going to, I'm going to.

Stop, calm down.

All right?

- You wanna jump in and do

a synchronized quicksand dance

with me?

- No, aim towards me.

- Towards you?

Into the quicksand.

- Okay, three.

You're gonna pull out.

Be calm, and I'm gonna let go.

I'll get you out side to side,

okay?

Pull pull pull!

- I'm pushing.

(groaning)

- Get off of me!

Are you okay?

- Yeah.

- Okay, come on,

we gotta keep movin'.

- We can't.

- Ivan's still close by.

- No, there's gonna be

more of these traps.

We're barely surviving, Anna.

- Come on, I've got

something to show you.

- Gimme just a sec.

- [Anna]

We don't have a second, come on.

- I just almost died.

- [Anna] I know you did,

but we gotta go, he's close.

Come on!

- Can you stop talking, please?

- [Anna] No, I can't.

- I'll come, just shut up.

- [Anna] Just saving your life.

- [Rick]

Shut up and I'll follow,

come on.

- [Anna]

Don't tell me to shut up.

- [Rick] Quit talking.

- [Anna] Come on.

(ominous music)

See?

- You marked them all.

- Yep.

Well, all the ones I could find.

It was dark.

- Were there other guns?

- No, just more stuff like this.

Some arrows, a grenade.

- A grenade?

- Yeah, I couldn't

dismantle it either.

- I could.

- What, how?

- I was in the military.

- You were?

When?

- Long time ago.

- Where'd you serve?

- [Rick] I didn't.

- But you said

you were in the...

- I don't wanna talk about it.

- Why not?

- What's your real last name?

- Take a mile this way.

- That's what I thought.

And here we go.

First you won't shut up, and

now the silent treatment?
