how I'm gonna make by Monday

and... I'm at a loss, Gene.

[Gene sighs]

Okay.

[stammering] I'm gonna say...

say right now,

like, the worst thing

that a sponsor can possibly say.

I... There's a game

that I can get you into.

It's my old game.

It's a high stakes game.

And you can win

a lot of money really fast.

But, on the other hand, you could also

lose a lot of money really fast.

Okay?

And I just gotta say to you,

man, I'm telling you,

from what you've told me,

if you lose,

you gotta get out of here, man.

- I mean, like, do not...

- Yeah.

Do not pass Go. Do not collect...

Don't go to your house.

- All right.

- Go. Go.

[sighs] So I guess what I'm saying is...

[sighs] You know...

if you want me to make the call,

I will make the call.

- [sighs] Make the call.

- Yeah.

I don't see what other choice...

I don't want to, but make the call.

- Yeah.

- [sighs]

[dance music playing]

[Eddie] Looks like a scary painting

out here, huh?

[Nicky] Where are we, man?

We're in the suburbs, man.

This ain't the city.

It's scary out here.

So, look, when we get in there,

you know, you're gonna be kinda

my bagman, my muscle.

- Right.

- So it's important

that you're always

right next to me, to the right.

I want you holding the bag.

So when I go to get money,

you give it to me.

It should be really fluid.

It's what a lot of these guys

are gonna have.

And it's just important that

it seems like we've done this before.

- All right. Yeah.

- You know what I mean?

[Nicky] I feel like we look

like men in black, man.

[Eddie] Now I'm insecure

that we look like men in black.

- I don't want to look like men in black.

- We dress up.

[Nicky] We put on suits.

We look like we know what we're doing.

Don't say that when we get in there.

I don't want them thinking...

Remember, I've got to be

at that dinner tomorrow night at seven,

so we got 24 hours to make that money.

I feel good.

- Try it.

- Yeah.

[door beeps]

[Eddie] Hello?

- It's only a plant.

- I know, I know.

[Eddie scoffs]

I mean, I have no idea.

Yeah.

Eddie Garrett.

- Who's he?

- Oh, that's my bagman.

- What's a bagman?

- You don't know what a bagman is?

Uh, the guy who carries all my money.

Well, we don't have

anybody else on the list.

Come on man, I mean...

We got one car. We drove from the city.

- I thought he'd be able to come with me.

- Come on.

Thank you.

Hi. Can I get you something to drink?

[Eddie] Yeah. I'll take a whiskey.

Too late he's found he loves her

So much he wants to die

But drink to a fool...

They're playing Hold 'Em, right?

[dealer 1] Yeah, they're playing Hold 'Em.

Why are they doing it at that table?

It should be the longer table.

That's the owner's choice of table.

But it's not a Hold 'Em table.

It just seems weird.

I don't know what to tell you.

It's the table the owner likes.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it.

No, I'm not worried about it. It's just...

It's not a Hold 'Em table.

[dealer 2] Seat open.

Yeah.

- You gotta be faster, Nicky, please.

- [dealer 2] $500.

[man 1] Is it dollars?

- [dealer 2] Five.

- [man 2] Yen.

[man 3] Okay. Call.

Hey, how you doing?

- Blues Brothers!

- [all chuckling]

They still owe you money.

- Very good.

- I like your shoes.

[Eddie] Yeah, thanks, man.

It's 15.

$15,000.

$15,000, our buy-in today.

I heard it was, uh, five.

Not tonight.

- Fifteen. Mmm-hmm.

- It's 15?

Big boy game.

We've been playing this way

for the last 24 hours.

Okay. Lock my seat.

[indistinct chatter]

They're saying it's 15.

Fifteen more or 15 total?

- What?

- Fifteen more or 15 total?

They said... No, I've already put five,

so it'll be ten more.

- All right.

- They're also being f***ing d*cks.

The guy even said something

about the Blues Brothers.

- Do you want to f***ing bail?

- No.

I'm not gonna f***ing bail.

Get your hands out of there. Stop.

I can't be sitting here doing this

for so long.

Also, dude, you're... like,

you're supposed to have that sh*t ready.

Like, that's part of the thing.

- This guy runs like God.

- [chuckles]

Chips, please.

Or the guy bluffs, too.

[all exclaim]

- Right.

- You bluffed with that?

- $15,000. Good luck.

- Thank you.

- Yeah.

- Nice bluff.

You can get a haircut with that money.

- Pitbull's not messing around.

- [all laugh]

- Welcome, sir.

- Yeah.

- I'm Brad.

- Hey. Eddie.

- Nice to meet you.

- Chips, man.

- Money, money, money.

- Small, big.

- [Eddie] What's that?

- [dealer] $1,750.

[Brad] I'm gonna draw.

I'll raise you.

[Brad] It's cheaper to fold.

[Eddie] Can't win if you fold, right?

All right, I fold.

- Small, big?

- [Eddie] I know you have a four.

I know that didn't do anything.

[speaking indistinctly]

- [Eddie] Did you have a king?

- No.

You did have the best hand

if you had a pair.

I did, yeah. I did. I did. F***.

Cards are good.

[dealer] Thank you, sir.

Straddle?

[man] Yeah.

Let's make it $1,000.

All right, we've got a pot.

You've got to be kidding me, dude.

All right, I fold.

I can buy behind, right?

- [dealer] Sure.

- All right.

Fifteen, Nick.

Fifteen behind.

- [Nicky] Ten.

- Okay.

$700 all day.

That's five.

Chips!

Fifteen.

[dealer] $15,000. Good luck, sir.

Thank you, sir.

[Brad] I'll go $4,000.

- $4,000?

- Yeah.

- $4,000.

- $4,000.

[Brad] That's a good card.

I'm gonna go ahead

and bet whatever that is.

What is that?

I mean, is there logic to your betting?

- Or you just...

- [all laugh]

- You just push?

- [Brad] I push.

Do you even think? You just push?

You want to flip coins for money?

Two for $10,000.

I mean, give me a f***ing break, man.

You don't have a queen.

[Brad] $10,000 to find out.

[Eddie] I'm gonna go all in.

[dealer] All in.

Covered.

- Let's see 'em.

- Oh, for...

- [Brad] Sorry.

- [man] Nice hand.

Lock my seat.

[dealer] Seat locked.

[door beeps]

[Eddie softly] F***ing Christ, man.

They're playing crazy, and I don't want

to flip a f***ing coin for everything.

I can't do that.

That just... It's too scary.

If I knew it was gonna be like this,

I wouldn't have come.

Oh, you f***ing... This is...

So...

I gotta run.

I gotta run. I gotta get out of town.

I have enough money to start...

I don't know where the f***

I'm gonna go. [scoffs]

[sighs]

[sighs]

[groans]

[Emma] Hi, Eddie, this is Emma.

Me and my mom...

Well, technically, just my mom...

[Eva speaking Spanish]

Was wondering if you

like chicken or steak.

So I'm gonna be really excited

to meet you.

[Eva speaking in Spanish]

[Eva] Just... just text me, okay?

Tell me what you want. [chuckles]

- Bye.

- [Emma] Okay. Bye.

[sighs]

Mmm.

Let's play cards, man.

[dealer 1] Chips, please!

- [dealer 2] How much?

- A bunch!

This is Jamie here.

He's at your service.

- [all] Jamie!

- How you doing?

[chuckles]

- Check-raise.

- [all laughing]

[indistinct chatter]

Well, if Stan's in, I gotta be in.

I told you earlier it was king, nine.

You got in trouble with that.
