Ophelia – Tomorrow is a day off; the night is young.

Lauren – Waiter can we have the bill please.

Waiter – Certainly.

Lauren and Ophelia leave the restaurant and go for a walk along a lake in the city.

Ophelia – It’s a pleasant night, you see those old couple over there, I wonder how long they’ve been together.

Lauren – Wait right here I’ll just go and ask them.

Ophelia – Don’t you dare.

Lauren – You’re not feeling cold are you.

Ophelia – I am getting a little cold.

Lauren – Is it customary for a guy to offer his coat to a lady if it’s cold.

Ophelia – It is yes, it’s a must.

Lauren – I was hoping you wouldn’t say that.

Ophelia – Why.

Lauren – I hate the cold, and this coat fits me only.

Ophelia – Oh yeah, I think I know why you’ve been alone all these years.

Lauren – I’m not alone I live with my cat.

Ophelia – Well that doesn’t count.

Lauren offers his coat; they make their way to his car.

Lauren – I think it’s getting late, how about I drive you home.

Ophelia – But you’ve been drinking, that would be breaking the Law.

Lauren – Only if you tell the police.

Ophelia – Ok let’s go.

Scene change, Lauren arrives at Ophelia’s doorstep.

Ophelia – I would invite you in, but you know what they say.

Lauren – What’s that.

Ophelia – Never invite the guy in on the first date.

Lauren – Well that’s reassuring, good night.

Ophelia – Good night.

Lauren drives off.

Scene change, there is a meeting at Acheron’s office, Gabriel, Abigor, and a senior partner of the firm is present.

Acheron – We have a problem; Ahriman has left the firm.

Senior Partner, Avron – When did that happen.

Acheron – I received a letter this morning, he no longer requires our services.

Gabriel – How about Lauren, what are we going to do with him.

Acheron – I’ll take care of it, Abigor what more do we know about Lauren.

Abigor – There are still association with the secret services, they have come into contact with Lauren, and I believe Ophelia is seeing Lauren, here take a look.

Abigor shows a photo slide of Lauren and Ophelia together, various photos at papa pizza ect.

Acheron – This is getting serious enough, we can’t let this carry on for too long.

Gabriel – What do you suggest.

Acheron – I suggest we get rid of them both, Ahriman and Lauren.

Avron – How about Ophelia.

Acheron – It’s too early to say, well leave her out for now.

Abigor – You want to call for assistance.

Acheron – You do that, I want this cleared sooner rather than latter, ok this brings our meeting to an end.

Scene change, a week later Ophelia is working at the firm, she enters Acheron’s office when he is away and finds a file in the office volt, she finds a list of names of past employees of the firm as well as clients. All deceased, from various incidents raging from car crash to freak accident. Ophelia also comes across two further names, Ahriman and Lauren, with ‘pending operation’ written next to them. Ophelia is visibly shaken, she sweats, breathes heavy. Puts the file back, then rushes to the lady’s where she vomits.

Petrol Station staffWould you like anything else sir.

Ahriman – No that will be all thank you.

Ahriman returns into his Mercedes Benz and drives off, Abigor is parked nearby, he follows Ahriman. Abigor is with an accomplice, a trained hit man, a colleague. It is late at night.

Abigor – There he is, follow him.

Jabez – The son of a b*tch.

Ophelia is aware of the plot against Ahriman, she decides to follow Abigor on that night the plot was planned, she is seen driving behind Abigor’s vehicle.

Abigor – Ok slow down, pullup next to him.

Jabez – There he is.

Abigor fires a round into Ahriman’s vehicle, they speed off into the night. Ophelia witnesses the incident, she follows them.

Abigor – Park here, I need to make a call, Acheron we got him.

Acheron – Good, make your way to my office tomorrow morning.

Jabez – Shall we go.

Abigor – Step on it.

Abigor and Jabez reach their apartment, they park their vehicle and enter the building. Ophelia takes photos from her vehicle, the flash from the Camera catches their eye, they notice Ophelia. Ophelia speeds of.

Abigor – Who was that.

Jabez – I don’t know shall we go after them.

Abigor – No it’s too late, lets split, we can’t stay here for too long.

Ophelia returns to her apartment and calls Lauren; she is clearly distressed.

Ophelia – Lauren it’s me.

Lauren- Ophelia it’s two in the morning, what is it.

Ophelia – Something terrible happened, I can’t talk on the phone, I have to see you.

Lauren – Can’t it wait.

Ophelia – No it can’t, I’m making my way.

Lauren – Ok relax, calm down, you know my address.

Ophelia – I do yes, see you soon.

Ophelia hangs up and makes her way.

Scene change, Ophelia is a Lauren’s doorstep.

Lauren – Come, can I make you a cup of coffee.

Ophelia – Yes thank you.

Lauren – What is it what happened.

Ophelia – They are after you.

Lauren- Who is after me.

Ophelia – The firm is Lauren, Ahriman was murdered, a hit man, I have a photo of them.

Lauren – When did this happen.

Ophelia – A few hours ago, listen I found a file in Acheron’s office, it was planned, you are next, they want to kill you.

Lauren- Why.

Ophelia – I don’t know, you’ve got to do something, call the police.

Lauren – Funny you should mention the police, I have been approached by a detective Radcliff Marsh from the ministry of justice, it was regarding Ahriman, a long-standing client of theirs. They were not happy at the prospect of losing their client.

Ophelia – That doesn’t make sense.

Lauren – Radcliff Marsh is also working for Acheron Gabriel & Co.

Ophelia – I don’t understand.

Lauren – Radcliff Marsh might have told them about our meeting.

Ophelia – They know what you know.

Lauren – It seems so, there have been other cases, similar cases.

Ophelia – Why didn’t you report it.

Lauren – How could I, they would have me killed in an instant.

Ophelia – They wanted to make sure you win the case.

Lauren – Yes and to keep quiet about the firm and their connection with ministry of justice.

Ophelia – What are you going to do.

Lauren – I don’t know, I just don’t know.

Ophelia – That’s entrapment.

Lauren – Listen, they didn’t see you did they.

Ophelia – No, I was in my car.

Lauren – You didn’t see or hear anything, you act normal, carry on with work as normal.
