Scene change, there is a meeting at Acherons office, Abigor, Gabriel and Tony Wilder are present, it is a tense scene.

Acheron – You didn’t see their faces,

Abigor – No, it was dark, I couldn’t read the number plate either, it was a red vehicle that’s all I remember.

Tony Wilder – Are you sure it was a camera flash, not a speed camera flash.

Abigor – I’m certain someone followed us and photographed us.

Gabriel – The main thing is Ahriman is dealt with, whoever followed you might have witnessed the incident, time will tell.

Acheron – Ok listen everyone, we need to cover our track, Lauren has been in contact with the ministry of justice, we can’t take our chances. Radcliff Marsh doesn’t know what we know. Abigor take care of Lauren, that will be all for now.

Scene change, Acheron is making his way to a lunch meeting, when he sees a red vehicle in the staff parking bay, he makes a note of it, but doesn’t know who it belongs to and doesn’t worry about it much.

Scene change Ophelia is at her desk in the office.

Tania – You don’t look well baby, something on your mind.

Ophelia – No I’m fine, just a lot of work to do.

Tania – Ok, that reminds me Lauren left a message, he says to bring your internship portfolio with you this evening.

Ophelia- My, oh yes of course, I will.

Tania – Would you like coffee.

Ophelia – No thanks, I just need to go to the toilet.

Scene change, Acheron returns to the office. He notices the volt had been opened, the files and folders were arranged differently, he gets suspicious, and decides to change the code for the volt. He then remembers the red vehicle in the parking bay.

Acheron- Tania do you have a moment, can you come to my office.

Tania – I’m on my way.

Acheron – How long have you been working for us.

Tania- it’s almost ten years now, why do you ask.

Acheron – I’m thinking of modernising our parking bay, for security reasons, I want to know exactly who is using our parking bays, who owns, the red fiat.

Tania – I believe that’s Ophelia.

Acheron – I see, we need to make a distinct visitor and staff bay, I just wasn’t sure, that will be all thank you.

Scene change, Acheron calls Abigor.

Acheron - I want you to search your memory, you said you saw a flash of light from a red vehicle, was it a Fiat.

Abigor – I can’t be sure,

Acheron - Well make sure, I want you to look at the red fiat in our staff parking bay.

Abigor – You think it might be one of our own.

Acheron – I don’t know, but if it is, we must know.

Scene change, Abigor exits the office, the scene is now at Laurens office.

Ophelia – What are we going to do.

Lauren – You drove here?

Ophelia – Yes, why do you ask.

Lauren – Your car, they might make the connection.

Ophelia – Oh no.

Lauren – It’s too late don’t worry, I don’t think it will take them too long to get to me, if they do, they may come for you, you must leave.

Ophelia – I can’t I’m staying here with you.

Lauren – Ok, we can’t escape they will find us and kill both of us, I have to strike a deal with Radcliff Marsh, I need him to provide me with protection in exchange.

Ophelia – In exchange for what.

Lauren – In exchange for silence, I can’t risk leting the ministry of justice finding out about the prior disclosure, I could face life behind bars.

Ophelia – How do you plan to do that.

Lauren – He doesn’t have an impeccable track record, I’m sure he wouldn’t want anyone knowing in the long run. I need assurance that he will remain silent first.

Ophelia – What makes you think that the Ministry of Justice won’t come for you.

Lauren – I have thought it through, it won’t be in their interest.

Scene change Lauren arranges a meeting with Radcliff Marsh. The two are seen at a warehouse, no one is around.

Lauren – I’m leaving the firm, detective Marsh.

Radcliff Marsh – Well, you know what they did to Ahriman already don’t you, what makes you think they won’t come after you.

Lauren – leave that to me, I wont assurance that you keep silent about the firm and me, no one must know about the firm, no one. I will in return keep silent about your dealings with Ahriman and Acheron.

Radcliff Marsh – Ok, it’s a deal.

Lauren – I need to cover my track, I’m leaving town for good, I can’t do it by myself, I need your help. I don’t know how much time I have, but I need to get out sooner rather than later. Ophelia knows about the firm, there is a file on missing clients, all deceased.

Radcliff marsh – My assistance is your price for your silence.

Lauren – Correct, the content of that file, is enough to put you away for several lifetimes.

Radcliff marsh- Ok that’s enough, I will get you out of town.

Scene change, Abigor is with Jabez, they are in a dark Range Rover, looking at photo slides, and the red fiat at the staff parking bay.

Jabez – What do you think.

Abigor – I think that’s the red fiat that they took photos of us from.

Jabez – Either way, we’ve got to get them both, soon.

Scene change Lauren is waiting for Radcliff Marsh at his apartment, it’s midnight. Radcliff Marsh arrives in his unmarked police vehicle.

Radcliff Marsh – Get in, I see we have company.

Lauren- yes indeed, this is Ophelia, she took the photos that night.

Ophelia – Please to meet you.

Radcliff Marsh -Ok hurry up, you have a plane to catch.

Lauren – A one way ticket out of here.

Scene change, Abigor and Jabez are seen waiting at the airport parking bay, it’s a set up. Radcliff Marsh sets them up. Radcliff Marsh points a gun at Lauren and Ophelia

Radcliff Marsh – Step out the car.

Lauren – What the hell are you doing.

Radcliff Marsh – Shut up, do what you are told.

Abigor – I’m glad you made it on time Lauren, you have a plane to catch.

Ophelia – You son of a b*tch.

Jabez – Shut up and get in.

Radcliff Marsh – You didn’t really think that I’d risk it all, just to save you.

Lauren – Clearly, I miss judged you

Lauren and Ophelia are forced into the back of the black range rover, a fight breaks out, Lauren punches and kicks Radcliff Marsh and breaks free. Lauren grabs Ophelia’s arm and runs towards the car park exit.

Lauren – Come on.

Abigor fire’s a couple of rounds but he misses. Ophelia screams.

Lauren – Hurry this way.

Ophelia – I’m running as fast as I can.

Abigor and Jabez are chasing them, Radcliff Marsh, is injured and on the ground.

Abigor – Jabez you take the stairs I’ll go down the fire exit, we’ll try and cut him off.

Lauren – This way.

Lauren sees the airport entrance.

Ophelia – Where are we going.

Lauren – We have a plane to catch remember.

Ophelia – I almost forgot, you have the tickets.

Lauren – Yes.

Lauren and Ophelia enter the airport, there are security personnel and police officers about.
