involved. You'll have to talk to mother.

I swear, Rodi will be very sad.

At least don't give him the locked box.

We don't know what the girl put inside.

I gave my word not to open it.

I think he should see everything.

Otherwise he won't come to his senses.

Asya, you don't listen to anyone!

Just like dad.

OK then.

Have you ever seen such a firefighter?

Look at the guy!

In this sense I find it very significant

that this engine is...

...being donated to Trabzon,

in regard to our fraternity.

Go with God, brother,

in the name of fraternity!

Thank you, sir.

Asya, sister, what do you say about this?

Brother Mihram, I have nothing to say.

Be careful, don't let that guy do

any funny business to you.

- Do you have any precautions with you?

- Yes, thanks.

Well, Lice doesn't have a fire truck.

Let's not do this.

Let's just give this truck to Lice.

- Lice does have a fire engine.

- It does?

Thanks.

Brother can I come with you?

Mister Koman, would you like to

say something?

Well, thank you very very much.

I'd like to thank our mayor here.

I mean, it's a beautiful truck.

Not even Trabzon has such a beautiful one.

God bless!

- Hope you put it to good use.

- Thank you, sir.

Stay safe!

I have to sign the papers, there are

transfer procedures to do in Trabzon.

If you want, I'll get out.

No way! Of course not!

OK, then, let's go!

Did you arrange the return ticket,

are the truck's papers in order?

Everything's fine, sir...

...I even put water in the tank.

Water? They're going to the seaside, you idiot.

There isn't a single reasonable person here!

Here we go then!

Mister Koman, in what kind of state

were you last night?

What happened?

Serava serava serava!

I was so scared last night!

What were those things around me?

- Kse.

- Right, kse, they'll get their punishment eventually.

And everyone was talking,

but I couldn't understand a single thing.

It's the accent of course.

How so? An accent?

You're right. Truck is the same

in all languages...

...fire's the same, firefighter is the same...

Miss Asya, our mayor

insisted very much on this...

...otherwise we have

many trucks there.

I bet.

Miss Asya, do you smoke?

I mean, do women here smoke?

Put on some pants and all of a sudden

you're a man, right?

- Go ahead, smoke.

- You did make an innuendo there, but...

Miss Asya, shall we pull over and check

the truck to see if there's something wrong.

Go ahead, drive on,

it's just a greeting.

- Greeting to whom?

- You, me, the truck...

- Why?

- It looks familiar to them.

- Shall I take your picture?

- No, no, not here, not here!

Why not? The journalists took many pictures,

and you didn't say anything.

Tomorrow they will be all

over the newspapers.

These papers, they won't be sold

in Trabzon and Artvin, will they?

I don't know.

Miss Asya, are you from Diyarbakr?

Yes, from Lice.

You?

I'm originally from Artvin,

but I live in ayrba, Trabzon.

Tell you what, Miss Asya...

...now that we're here,

shall we pay a visit to your village?

Lice is not a village.

And nobody here can go to their village

anymore. Nobody is left there.

Everything is burned down.

So there was no fire engine

in your village, either?

Oh my, I love this voice!

- You like Ahmet Kaya?

- Well, who doesn't?

Miss Asya, shall I turn up

the volume a little?

- Please go ahead.

- Shall I?

Yes, please.

Lion, lion. Marble to Lion?

Lion is on standby, marble,

lion on standby.

A suspicious fire engine is

approaching you.

It says Diyarbakr Municipality

on the side. FYI...

OK, marble, got it.

Hello? Lemi, what are you up to,

brother?

Fine, fine, I'm alive.

What started?

Oh "Selvi Boylum"...

Never mind that movie now.

I'm hanging up now.

No, it can't be tomorrow,

I'll stop by in Artvin...

...at my mother's! OK then.

Where did you say your mother lives,

Koman?

- In Artvin.

- Isn't that out of ourway?

It's been a long time since

I visited my mother.

And the mayor gave me time off

to visit her.

She has never seen me

on a fire engine.

She'll be very happy.

If you don't mind?

I don't.

How long will that delay us?

Well, about 12-13 minutes.

- Is it beautiful there?

- You have never seen the place?

Never.

It's very beautiful, the greenery,

the mountains, the caves...

It's paradise!

- You love mountains and caves?

- Yes I do!

There's this al Cave there,

the entrance is as tall as three men.

I was the first to explore the insides.

It's paradise!

There's a cave right ahead.

Shall we have a look?

What cave is that?

Brkleyn.

- What leyn?

- Brkleyn, Brkleyn.

- Is that English?

- It's Kurdish!

Once upon a time Alexander the Great

came there.

He stayed in that cave for a long time

when he couldn't cross the mountains.

- Alexander?

- Yep, Alexander.

Well, the al Cave is so huge

you can fit a restaurant in it!

What have you got there behind

the shade, your wife and kids?

You know that?

Yes.

My fatherwas a fan.

- Oh, we're passing it!

- What?

- Pull up on the right!

- Stop, don't panic.

Safety first, wait.

Come on!

- Will we climb up here?

- Yep.

Can we not climb this mountain!?

You never know what's coming up next.

Come on now, don't be afraid!

Come here!

Be careful!

But I can't!

Come on!

My God!

You people know quite well

how to climb!

You can say that, but we know better

how to go downhill.

That's not what I meant!

St!

What?

What on earth is this?

How high do you think it is?

Come over here, Mister Koman!

Wait, Miss Asya!

What sort of a cave is this?

Wait, Miss Asya!

Asya!

What do you think you're doing?!

- Isn't it lovely?

- Yep.

Here's where Alexander the Great

kept his men.

They couldn't cross those mountains there.

The cave ends after 15 km.

- 15 km?

- Yep.

We have a long way to go, Miss Asya,

shall we get going?

You are scared.

OK, let's go.

Scared? Me?

Asya, what is happening?

- What is this?

- Stay calm, Koman.

- Asya, what's happening? Are they terrorists?

- Soldiers.

The suspects have taken shelter

and are on the defensive, sir!

Put your hands over your head

and come down!

If they are soldiers, why don't we come out!

Hey, son, why are you firing?

Put the safety on and your weapon down.

- Make the announcement.

- Raise your hands and surrender.

Trust the Turkish Army,

benefit from the repentance law...

...and return safely to your wife and kids.

What repentance, what kids?

Asya, what's he saying?

If they ask about the box in the trunk,

say you don't know anything, OK?!

Asya? Asya, what's in the box?

- I'll count to three. One...

- One?

- Two...

- What did you do?

- Three...

- Red, Koman, red.

Red, sir, just a second!

Red, huh? So you want to fight?

Your call...

Soldiers! Take aim!

Shall I also take aim, sir?

No, not you. Put the safety on.

Go behind the truck before you shoot

one of us... Go!

White, sir, it's white.

I got it mixed up!

Raise your hands and come down!
