96 Minutes Page #7

Synopsis: Inspired by true events, 96 minutes is the story of four young lives slammed together in one shocking moment. The events of the night in inner city Atlanta, Georgia, unfold in real time as we inter-cut between a carjacking and the beginning of that day, following four separate kids - who they are, where they come from, and the seemingly innocuous decisions that lead them towards a life changing conclusion. With no adults to guide them, they're left on their own to try to survive not only this night, but the complex reality of the world they live in.

00:
34:05,235 -- 00:34:06,435

Please. Please, oh...

648

00:
34:06,548 -- 00:34:09,155

You know, I have such a

bad feeling about this.

649

00:
34:17,235 -- 00:34:18,387

Sh*t.

650

00:
34:18,452 -- 00:34:19,859

I should have walked.

651

00:
34:57,138 -- 00:34:59,058

F*** this.

652

00:
34:59,122 -- 00:35:00,081

F*** this.

653

00:
35:01,809 -- 00:35:03,457

F*** this.

654

00:
35:03,522 -- 00:35:04,544

Dre, what the f*** you doing?

655

00:
35:04,609 -- 00:35:06,192

I'm taking her to the hospital.

656

00:
35:06,258 -- 00:35:08,818

You're gonna make us go to

prison for the rest of our lives

657

00:
35:08,882 -- 00:35:10,193

just so she can go

to the hospital?

658

00:
35:10,257 -- 00:35:11,648

I'm not letting her

die in here! You hear me?

659

00:
35:11,713 -- 00:35:12,768

She's gonna die anyway, Dre.

660

00:
35:12,978 -- 00:35:14,302

Not gonna let her die

in the f***ing car!

661

00:
35:14,368 -- 00:35:15,888

Well, then let's

f***ing dump her.

662

00:
35:15,953 -- 00:35:17,697

We'll ice her f***ing friend, too.

My God.

663

00:
35:17,985 -- 00:35:19,968

Just let us out right here.

I swear to God you won't...

664

00:
35:20,033 -- 00:35:21,408

Shut up, b*tch!

665

00:
35:22,097 -- 00:35:24,145

What the f***...

666

00:
35:25,969 -- 00:35:27,824

What the f*** are you doing?

667

00:
35:27,889 -- 00:35:29,759

What the f*** did you do, girl?

668

00:
35:29,823 -- 00:35:31,423

What the f*** is this?

669

00:
35:31,488 -- 00:35:33,487

What the f*** is this?

670

00:
35:33,553 -- 00:35:35,360

- Ah, sh*t.

- What?

671

00:
35:35,425 -- 00:35:36,385

Sh*t.

672

00:
35:36,450 -- 00:35:37,712

Man, what?

673

00:
35:37,776 -- 00:35:39,056

It's a cop, man.

674

00:
35:39,120 -- 00:35:40,448

Is it?

675

00:
35:40,513 -- 00:35:42,607

Oh, motherfucking b*tch.

676

00:
35:42,672 -- 00:35:43,599

Sh*t!

677

00:
35:45,776 -- 00:35:47,822

F***! Oh, sh*t.

678

00:
35:47,888 -- 00:35:49,487

Okay. Sh*t.

679

00:
35:49,551 -- 00:35:50,766

Carley, you f***ed up!

680

00:
35:52,257 -- 00:35:53,038

You f***ed up!

681

00:
35:53,344 -- 00:35:55,006

You just gotta floor it, Dre.

682

00:
35:55,071 -- 00:35:56,318

Oh, yeah.

That's a f***ing good idea,

683

00:
35:56,416 -- 00:35:58,623

have a f***ing full-on

police chase right now.

684

00:
35:58,687 -- 00:36:00,015

You can't get pulled over, man.

685

00:
36:00,176 -- 00:36:01,374

Look, we're not being

pulled over right now.

686

00:
36:01,438 -- 00:36:02,989

They just behind us,

so calm down.

687

00:
36:03,054 -- 00:36:06,334

Don't do anything

else stupid, b*tch.

688

00:
36:06,400 -- 00:36:07,775

- God.

- I trusted you!

689

00:
36:07,840 -- 00:36:09,999

F***! F***!

690

00:
36:10,063 -- 00:36:12,814

I swear to God. Oh, God.

691

00:
36:12,878 -- 00:36:14,670

Kevin, stop looking back there.

692

00:
36:14,735 -- 00:36:16,350

God.

693

00:
36:16,415 -- 00:36:17,438

Sh*t.

694

00:
36:17,440 -- 00:36:19,485

Stop looking back there.

695

00:
36:19,550 -- 00:36:21,470

What the f***

is this cop doing?

696

00:
36:21,535 -- 00:36:22,814

He's just creeping on us, man.

697

00:
36:22,879 -- 00:36:25,742

Man, he's just

creeping there, Dre.

698

00:
36:27,182 -- 00:36:28,780

I'm gonna turn off up here.

699

00:
36:28,846 -- 00:36:29,868

F***, man.

700

00:
36:29,934 -- 00:36:31,805

Moment of truth.

701

00:
36:40,174 -- 00:36:42,380

Ah, f***.

702

00:
37:04,429 -- 00:37:05,997

We can still go back.

703

00:
37:18,237 -- 00:37:20,444

How the f*** did we get here?

704

00:
37:20,508 -- 00:37:21,211

Ray!

705

00:
37:21,275 -- 00:37:23,115

Got food stacking up here.

706

00:
37:23,180 -- 00:37:24,394

Sorry. Sorry, man.

707

00:
37:30,012 -- 00:37:31,051

Ray!

708

00:
37:33,276 -- 00:37:34,267

Yeah?

709

00:
37:36,923 -- 00:37:38,107

You can go now.

710

00:
37:38,972 -- 00:37:40,140

Really?

711

00:
37:40,204 -- 00:37:41,834

Yeah.

712

00:
37:41,899 -- 00:37:43,451

Thanks, man.

713

00:
37:43,516 -- 00:37:45,482

Hey, hey, little man,

little man.

714

00:
37:46,474 -- 00:37:47,708

Uh...

715

00:
37:51,900 -- 00:37:54,425

So you like this girl, huh?

716

00:
37:54,489 -- 00:37:56,186

Yeah. Yeah, I do.

717

00:
37:58,107 -- 00:37:59,257

You gonna kiss her?

718

00:
37:59,322 -- 00:38:00,761

I don't know, Uncle Duane.

719

00:
38:00,826 -- 00:38:02,138

Come on, come on,

come on, come on.

720

00:
38:02,203 -- 00:38:03,097

I hope so.

721

00:
38:03,162 -- 00:38:04,906

You hope so?

722

00:
38:04,970 -- 00:38:06,200

Okay. Okay.

723

00:
38:06,265 -- 00:38:08,152

You be a gentleman now.

724

00:
38:08,170 -- 00:38:09,912

Don't kiss her so hard

you scare her.

725

00:
38:09,977 -- 00:38:12,168

Treat her with respect, and

she'll want to kiss you back.

726

00:
38:12,234 -- 00:38:13,530

Know what I'm saying?

727

00:
38:13,595 -- 00:38:15,338

Yeah. Yeah, I got it.

728

00:
38:17,532 -- 00:38:18,713

All right.

729

00:
38:20,697 -- 00:38:22,201

Little man Ray.

730

00:
38:22,265 -- 00:38:23,450

Sarah. Ha ha.

731

00:
38:23,514 -- 00:38:26,008

Guess I need to call

you big man now, huh?

732

00:
38:26,073 -- 00:38:27,129

Yeah.

733

00:
38:27,194 -- 00:38:28,600

Go on. Have fun.

734

00:
38:28,665 -- 00:38:30,106

Hey, mama.

735

00:
38:30,170 -- 00:38:32,026

Go easy on the cologne now.

736

00:
38:32,090 -- 00:38:33,097

Gotcha.

737

00:
38:37,993 -- 00:38:40,456

I believe he gonna get it.

What you think?

738

00:
38:40,521 -- 00:38:41,928

Man, he gonna do it, too.

739

00:
38:41,993 -- 00:38:43,463

Look at that white boy.

740

00:
38:43,528 -- 00:38:44,937

Hey, Rodger, grab me a beer.

741

00:
38:45,002 -- 00:38:46,793

What the f*** I look like,

742

00:
38:46,858 -- 00:38:48,536

Geoffrey from the Fresh

Prince or some sh*t?

743

00:
38:48,602 -- 00:38:49,496

Yeah, n*gger.

744

00:
38:49,689 -- 00:38:51,015

Look, look, you really do.

745

00:
38:51,080 -- 00:38:52,136

Little bit, you do.

746

00:
38:52,200 -- 00:38:53,287

Get the f*** out.

747

00:
38:53,351 -- 00:38:55,608

Yo, what up, Dre?

748

00:
38:55,673 -- 00:38:57,737

How was school, dear?

749

00:
38:57,881 -- 00:38:59,032

F*** you, Rodg.

750

00:
38:59,097 -- 00:39:01,031

Look. Oreo came to hang

with the n*ggers.

751

00:
39:01,096 -- 00:39:02,599

Why, 'cause I'm the only one

752

00:
39:02,664 -- 00:39:03,896

of y'all motherfuckers

getting an education?

753

00:
39:03,960 -- 00:39:05,239

Hey, we educating our

motherfucking self

754

00:
39:05,305 -- 00:39:06,231

around here, partner.

755

00:
39:06,297 -- 00:39:07,287

Oh, yeah, Rodg?

756

00:
39:07,352 -- 00:39:09,270

That's... that theory

working for y'all?

757

00:
39:09,336 -- 00:39:11,703

Yeah. It's

working out real good.

758

00:
39:11,767 -- 00:39:13,752

I got my n*ggers,

and I got respect.

759

00:
39:13,817 -- 00:39:15,416

Think your p*ssy ass

commanding respect

760

00:
39:15,480 -- 00:39:17,398

packing Dr. Seuss

in your book bag?

761

00:
39:17,463 -- 00:39:19,270

What, you think

that thing on your waistband
