Jay – I don’t believe it, this is not real, let me have a read.

Lizy – All right, we’re in 2024, how much time do we have.

Hans – I don’t think we have much time at all, by the way no one has discussed this with anyone.

Jay – No one knows I’m back in Washington, as far as friends and family are concerned, I died in a plane crash.

Lizy – Same here.

Hans – Good and keep it that way. I’ll make tea, anyone like tea.

Jay – Yes please, Hans do you mind if I switch your TV on.

Hans – Help yourself.

Jay switches on the TV, flicks through the channels, kicks his feet onto the table and relaxes into the couch. He switches to sky news, an announcement was made, that three people survived the plane crash, Hans Miller, Jay Reed, and Lizy Fay.

Jay – Hans, I think you should come over here.

Hans – Give me a second.

Jay – No, come over now.

Hans – What is it dam it.

News readerBreaking news, we have three survivors of the flight 4289A, we have been informed by the Canadian special forces.

Hans – Sons of b*tches.

Lizy – Oh no, they will find us, what I’m I going to tell my parents.

Jay – Never mind your parents.

There is a knock on the door.

Hans – Don’t answer it, stay quiet, I’ll see who it is.

Hans makes his way to the door, opens the side curtain, he sees the entire news crew.

Hans – Oh sh*t, of F***ing hell.

Lizy – Who is it, let me see, oh sh*t, oh Jesus, of God.

Jay – Let me see, how did they find us so quick, what are we going to do.

Hans – I’ll talk to them.

Hans opens the door and allows one of the news reporters in, a well known lady news reader, Anushka Snow.

Anushka – Thankyou, we would like to interview all three of you.

Hans – I’m afraid that’s not possible right now.

Anushka – Why not.

Hans – Well, because you won’t believe our story.

Anushka – Try me.

Hans – Ok.

Anushka is seated with the camera crew circling them, flashlights, special camera angles, real professional setup. She takes a long breath, has a think, then speaks.

Anushka – You expect me to broadcast a story about a dead dictator plotting to kill all humans, with the help of 21st century German scientists, on a mission to kill and send the Aryans up into orbit.

Hans – Yes.

Anushka – This can’t go on air, they’ll fire me for interviewing you, you need to see a shrink.

Jay – Well if you don’t like it, you can push off into CNN news night.

Anushka – God help all three of you, this interview is over.

Jay – Let me show you to the door.

Anushka – No that won’t be necessary, I’ll manage.

The crew leave the apartment disappointed at what seems to them to be fictitious story.

Lizy – Well, that got rid of them nicely, now all we must do is convince the world that we’ve reached judgment day. I’ll be expecting a call from mum any minute now.

Jay – Someone is bound to believe us and help, sooner or later.

Hans – We’re on our own, it’s up to us three to do the right thing.

Lizy – And what is that.

Hans – We must go back.

Lizy – No way, I’m not going back, take Jay with you, he’ll be more than happy.

Jay – I’m in, but why.

Hans – It’s the only way we can stop their master plan, if there is no spaceship, there will be no nuclear war, no chemical warfare. They are not going to blow up earth, if they are going to be in the middle of it. We must find a way to stop them in their track.

Jay – Right on Hans, it’s getting a little late, I need to get sleep, once you’ve put a plan together, let me in on it.

Hans stays up all night, thinking, reading, planning and basically in panic mode. Jays sleeps on the floor, snoring. Lizy decided to return to her parents’ home. The following morning Hans is seated at his computer, while Jay makes himself breakfast.

Jay – Good morning, Hans, how about breakfast, I’ll make it for us.

Hans – No thanks, I’ve lost my appetite, you do know we can’t sit around here for too long, they’ll find us.

Jay – I know, so what is the plan.

Hans – We go back, we take more files from their offices and have a word or two with those mad scientists, they are bound to know everything. Once they tell us what we need to know

Jay – Which is?

Hans – The whereabout of the laboratory for their chemical weapon, we’ll make our way there and stop their crazy mission, but one step at a time.

Jay – Just like that, it’s not much of a plan.

Hans – Well then you think of something.

Jay – We are two guys with no military experience, what chance do we have against an organised military operation, oh I forgot you have military training.

Hans – I have the map of the place, the names of all the scientist working, their military points, entrance and exit. If we’re smart and fast, we could gather enough information to give to the government and let them handle it.

Jay – I see, we go in, kick ass, collect files, torcher a scientist and make our way back.

Hans – Exactly, simple isn’t it, all we need is the right equipment’s, search lights, guns, readymade explosive, cameras, communication device and a getaway vehicle.

Jay – Like I said I’m in all the way, but it’s going to be risky.

Hans – We’ll make our way back tomorrow tonight, but this time we’re prepared, right now I need to get some rest.

The phone rings, it’s Lizy on the other line.

Jay – Hello, who is it.

Lizy – It’s me, I’m freaking out, no one believes our story, I feel like screaming most of the time, I’ll be around in the afternoon.

Jay – Ok, but we’re not going to be here for too long, we’re making our back tonight, Hans has come up with a plan.

Lizy – No one is leaving without me, I’m ready for the challenge.

Jay – We’d like you to come along, you think you can handle it, the pressure, the bullets, the fighting, the blood.

Lizy – I can’t sit around doing nothing.

Jay – Suit yourself, be here at 2 P.M no later.

Lizy calms herself, to be ready for the big challenge ahead, she puts on her makeup, wears her best clothes, Jeans, shirt and Jacket, manicures her nails, flosses her teeth, sprays a perfume. She doesn’t seem to understand the seriousness of the situation, she appears to be getting ready for a nice day out. Meanwhile Jay is snooping around Hans’s apartment, he spots a trophy on a table, a gold medal and photos of Karate tournaments hanging on his wall.

Jay – Rise and shine Hans, Lizy is going to be here any minute now.
