l have no words to praise your voice.

lt has all the melody and emotions.

l and my voice were very dull

before.

The magic is in the lyrics because

of which l was honored by you.

Who is the poet?

Do you know him?

Why delay in the reply?

ls he no more?

May God give him a long life.

Then why didn't you bring him along?

My poet hates the land of Agra.

But why?

A girl lives here who first

fell in love with the poet.

And then broke his heart.

Princess, she must be

so hardhearted...

and lowly ...

who put her love to disgrace.

Shabnam, beware of your limits.

Let her speak, Karuna.

Do you know that girl?

lf l did, l would confront her.

l would've dragged her

in front of you.

And l will beg for justice

on the behalf of my poet.

l will tell people to stone her

because she fell in love ...

and broke a heart.

''She is unfaithful.

She has put love to disgrace.''

Hey, you are crying?

Looks like you love the poet.

Yes. But he still loves

that unfaithful woman.

When l begged to him for love,...

he disappointed me.

l sympathize with you completely.

l will try my best so that you get

his life and you prosper.

- Princess!

- Yes, Shabnam.

l will give a letter.

l will request your poet ...

to marry you.

He will never refuse the request

of the princess of lndia Jahan Ara.

Karuna, please get the pen.

Shabnam, as soon as possible

come and give me the good news...

that he has accepted you.

Where is Dara?

Grandpa, he has been arrested.

And now my father Aurangzed

reigns the country.

With his orders,

l've brought your arrest warrant.

You can dare to arrest me?

l am the Emperor of lndia.

Get out of my sight.

Didn't you all hear?

Had you lost your dignity and shame?

Didn't you all ever think

that despite of being an Emperor,...

l've always been like a father

to you.

ls betrayal the reward for my love?

Move aside. Let me go out.

Grandpa, you can't go out.

This is an order.

Now you have to spend

the rest of your life here.

For the sake of this royal family,

let me go out of the fortress.

l wish to meet my subjects.

My child, l am your grandpa.

l promise that l will make you

the prince of lndia for this favour.

l swear on the Holy Quran.

Grandpa, for me, my father's orders

are equally to the Holy Quran.

l don't want the throne of lndia.

Mohammed, you are comparing that

father's order to the Holy Quran...

who wants to quench the thirst of

his greed ...

with the blood of his brothers?

You are comparing that father's

order to the Holy Quran ...

who wants to take father

into custody ...

and give the rest of his life

as alms to him?

Answer me. lsn't it a sin to obey

the orders of such a father?

Aunt, l must honor my duty.

lf father did not realize it,

that doesn't mean ...

that l shouldn't fulfill my duty.

Aunt, the order for you is that...

l should escort you to Delhi

with great respect and care.

Mohammed, go and tell

your father ...

that l will not leave my father

in this helpless condition.

Dear Jahan, l can't bear ...

that you will endure

the hardships of the custody.

Please go to Delhi with Mohammed.

No, father. l will not go

leaving you alone.

Don't be stubborn, dear.

Now take me to be dead.

God forbid.

Father, l won't go.

lt is my order that

you should go to Delhi.

No. l won't go.

Aren't you too willing to accept

me as the Emperor?

Am l no longer fit to give orders?

And that you should obey my orders?

Obey my orders.

This is the Emperor's orders.

lt should be obeyed.

l obeyed the Emperor's orders.

But now l won't leave my father.

l won't go, father.

l won't go.

lf you have the courage,

come forward now and arrest me.

At present l am in the shelter

of the Emperor.

Your Majesty, they are arresting me

and taking me to Jaipur.

l won't go.

Please order them to go back.

Your Majesty, please protect me.

Mumtaz, l am tired now.

Please call me close to you.

Dear, l pray.

May everyone had a daughter

like my Jahan.

Mother!

''l am aware of your sorrow''

'' But l can't come to you''

''l can't take away ...''

''your helplessness''

''To wipe of the tears in your eyes''

''l am not so fortunate''

''To wipe of the tears in your eyes''

''l am not so fortunate''

''To engross myself in your sorrow...''

''l am not so fortunate''

''To take away your tears''

''Wish we could share the grief''

''We could rid of some sorrows''

''Tears wouldn't go futile''

''Would heal some wounds

of the heart''

''Then we wouldn't regret so much''

''As we do in loneliness''

''Now wonder how long...''

''is this path of sorrow''

''l could solve

the confusion of circumstances''

''l could solve the confusion

of circumstances''

''l am not so fortunate''

''To wipe of the tears in your eyes''

''Are your tresses ...''

''still the same''

''Do the winds ...''

''still guard your threshold''

'' But it is just a thought''

''You are in trouble''

''You long for a bud ...''

''who once owned the blossoms''

''To make those tresses fragrant ...''

''To make those tresses fragrant ...''

''Not so fortunate l am''

''To wipe of the tears in your eyes''

''Not so fortunate l am''

''To wipe of the tears in your eyes''

Bless you. Dear, do you

know what is the day today?

Yes, father. Today is a Friday.

l didn't ask that.

Then l didn't get you.

Dear, today is your birthday.

Wish l was the Emperor today.

l would give you precious gifts

as usual.

And l would give away charity

in your name.

But today your helpless father...

has nothing else except this flower.

Ever since the world has come

into existence,...

no father must've given such

a precious gift to his daughter.

Yes, father. People snatched

away the precious jewels.

But now nobody will snatch

this flower.

As long as l live.

l will keep it with myself.

And when l die,

l will show mother.

Believe me, father.

Mother's eyes will brim with joy.

Even she will say ...

''You are very lucky, Jahan Ara.''

No father in the world must've given

such a precious gift to his daughter

May God bless you dear.

One, two, three, four,

five, six, seven.

Seven years.

Dear Jahan.

Coming, father.

Yes, father?

l am feeling anxious.

Dear, l think ...

it is time to say goodbye.

Don't worry, father.

l'll call the physician right now.

No, dear.

Sit close to me.

l wish to say something to you.

Please give me orders, father.

ln this whole world,...

you are the only one

whom l've wrong.

l snatched away everything from you.

Believe me, dear.

Hadn't l been an Emperor,...

your life wouldn't have been ruined.

Father!

Please do me a favour.

Please forgive me.

Father, l swear at your feet.

l have no complaints.

Father, please don't make me

a sinner by apologizing to me.

Dear, my last moment is near.

Now l don't have much time.

Please don't reject this last

request of your father.

For the sake of my peace.

For God's sake, please forgive me.

Father, l forgive you.

My God has forgiven you.
